The Volmed Delta Pro is a measured volume infusion set, a medical device designed for the precise administration of fluids or medications into a patient’s bloodstream. It ensures accurate delivery of a specified fluid volume over a predetermined time. Key components include:

• IV Bag: A flexible plastic container pre-filled with the necessary fluid or medication.
• Drip Chamber: A transparent chamber in the IV tubing near the patient that allows for fluid flow visualization and prevents air bubbles.

• Measured Volume Chamber: Clear, flexible, and calibrated, available in sizes of 100/110/150 ml, with an in-built injection port and an air inlet featuring a bacteria filter.
• Automatic Shut-Off Valve: Prevents air trapping and indicates the fluid volume in the chamber.
• 15-Micron Fluid Filter: Located in the drip chamber.
• Drop Rate: Delivers approximately 60 drops/ml.
• PVC Tubing: Soft, kink-resistant, and 150 cm long.
• Injection Options: Choice of latex flush bulb, “Y” injection port, or latex-free.
• Sterilization: EO sterilized.
